Appearing on Credlin, John Anderson says the government supports “race provisions” in the constitution but reimplementing the alcohol ban in the Northern Territory is “race-based”. “I think it’s an extraordinary contradiction, and it points to something, which is that if we were to go ahead with the Voice as proposed … we need to be very mindful that progressives won’t take the recommendations of anyone.”
